About Linlee

Linlee Jordan is a homeopath based in Sydney whose articles on bamboo, sugar medicine and other intriguing topics have appeared in professional journals as well as popular magazines. She hopes that those who read her work will feel inspired to try homeopathy or at least gain more of an understanding of this system of medicine from a contemporary view.

The well-known medicinal plants like peppermint, chamomile and aloe have been turned into homeopathic medicines and used around the world for 200 years. But there is also an assortment of other strange substances with a powerful healing impact. Bamboo, belladonna, henbane and even sugar are homeopathics used for post-natal depression, anxiety, sleep problems and blood -sugar regulation. Plants have a story to tell and articles by Linlee include ideas about the nature of the plant in relation to homeopathy and some fascinating botanical details.

Linlee writes with a background as a Registered Nurse and qualifications of a Masters in Health Science Education and Diplomas in Homeopathy and Nutrition. For ten years, she was Head of the Faculty of Homeopathy at Nature Care College and lecturer in Clinical Studies. She is in daily practice at the Harbord Homeopathic Clinic at Brookvale, where her work is with families and their children, in maintaining health with natural and wholistic medicine. Children who have been using homeopathy their whole life who first attended the clinic as babies are now turning 20 years old, and here is the good news: they may have used an antibiotic only once in their lives; had to use panadol rarely; know how to manage a fever in a natural way and they sure are very articulate about their symptoms and their life.
